This week I had the privilege to interact with General Collin Powell who is the Chairman of Eisenhower Fellowship in Washington DC. I also had the privilege to interact with India’s Finance and Defence Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley in Harvard.
General Powell spent over an hour highlighting the strength of democratic processes, touching on American History and the aftermath of 9/11. His humor, humbleness and insights were a treat. Shri Arun Jaitley spoke about the steps the government is taking to combat corruption and strengthen tax system including demonetisation. I asked him his view on jobs and future of work. He was of the opinion that jobs get replaced with new jobs and he doesnot see this as a challenge India will face!!!
